AMF-Bruns receives the Hertie Foundation's “jobandfamily” certificate

Since many years, AMF-Bruns is actively engaged in a number of projects for the well-being of its employees – from an innovative payment system to the attractive “AMF-Bruns Pension”, health & fitness programs as well as attractive further education offers.

Now, our family-oriented efforts have been awarded: AMF-Bruns received a certificate for the successful participation in the “jobandfamily” audit of the non-profit Hertie Foundation on June 26th in Berlin. Patrons of the event are the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, and the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology.

On June 26th, company manager Jan Woltermann received the certificate for AMF-Bruns.The award is an accepted seal for a family-oriented personnel policy, and confirms AMF-Bruns' sustainable efforts for a better compatibility of job and family. However, the certificate is not only an acknowledgement for the previous measures taken, such as more flexible working times or family-friendly part-time work models. It also stands for the company's commitment to provide increasingly better, transparent, and reliable framework conditions that enable work and family to be better harmonized.

For example, these include even more flexibility in the duration and start/end of the daily working time, additional possibilities for part-time working such as “job sharing”, and the development of binding strategies for the implementation of parental and nursing care periods. In the final analysis, all these measures also increase the individual degrees of freedom for our employees, thereby resulting in more satisfaction and well-being of our staff.
In this way, the certificate “jobandfamily” also contributes towards making AMF-Bruns an even more attractive employer, increases employee loyalty to the company, and enables us to recruit new experts – factors, that help to permanently strengthen the future and competitiveness of AMF-Bruns.

We are very pleased to have been awarded the certificate, which we see mainly as a motivation to become even better in future – thereby contributing to a working environment in which family and career are no longer seen as two sides of a coin, and permits the individual needs of our employees to be combined with the company's interests in a satisfactory manner.
