The protection of our environment and climate has always been very important to AMF-Bruns. This is why we consider all factors which are relevant to the environment for all of the processes in our company. The result is consistent environmental management which contributes to saving natural resources and to the protection of the environment.

As of 2013, we are exclusively using electricity generated from hydropower and are also obtaining 100 % of the gas we use from renewable sources.
We are also actively committed to increased sustainability in other areas, such as in logistics. In addition to a considerable reduction in packaging materials, we have also been using thinner foils for some time now, enabling further significant saving benefits. Furthermore, resource-efficient paper is now exclusively used at AMF-Bruns.

To ensure that sustainability becomes a key part of our corporate culture, we also always invite our employees to integrate environmental protection into their daily activities and to come up with new ideas to make work processes at AMF-Bruns even more resource-efficient, for a future with a high quality of life in a healthy environment.

Water consumption for the manufacture of our products has been reduced by 24% in recent years through various optimisation measures.

We believe in using renewable energies! We have already reduced our carbon emissions by 1,000 tonnes since our photovoltaic system was activated in May 2018! In other words, we generate a third of the electricity that AMF-Bruns needs ourselves. AMF-Bruns has been exclusively obtaining renewable energy from hydropower since the beginning of 2013, with no harmful CO2 emissions produced from the generation of the energy. With regard to 2013 till 2017, this enabled approximately 3,320 tonnes of CO2 to be reduced and compensated in terms of climate effect.

AMF-Bruns only uses resource-efficient recycled paper for its office supplies, promotional materials and packaging. 21% of our waste is now also recycled.

Environmental factors are considered in the planning of business trips at AMF-Bruns. In addition, we encourage the formation of car pools.

In addition to a considerable reduction in the amount of packaging materials used, we have also been using thinner foils in this area for some time now, enabling further significant saving benefits.

We have reduced the amount of packaging materials used at AMF-Bruns by 24% in recent years. This protects important resources and reduces emissions. We have significantly reduced noise pollution and emissions thanks to our five new electric forklift trucks and two electric pallet jacks. The new fleet of load lifters is another logical step in our sustainable corporate strategy.

Nature is a matter which is close to our hearts! Which is why, among other things, we have been sourcing renewably produced gas since 2013. This allowed us to cut our carbon emissions by 3,762 tonnes between 2013 and 2020 for the benefit of the climate.
