AMF - Bruns offers switching valves, breech chutes, and two-way chutes (also referred to as changeover valves). Switching valves are used to feed the material through a flap-type defl ector plate, operated in two conveyance directions by an electric or pneumatic motor or even manually.
Our rotary feeders provide proven and user-friendly metering particularly suitable for the conveyance of free-flowing and fine particle materials. The metered quantity is dependent on the cell content and speed. A positing system is used for the materials that tend to cake. For special cases, we can also control conveyance on up to three axes.
Valve plates are used to shut off a conveyance path. Our valve plates are designed in a robust, welded steel construction operated electrically, pneumatically and manually. The valve plates are mounted on friction or roller bearings. Wiping seal strips or gland seals isolate the valve plates from the control room. Depending on the application, valves can be fully enclosed, flushed with sealing gas and water-cooled for use in high temperature areas.
